What a great party!!!!
The launch party of the Official Jimmy Jemain Fan Club was held on Friday 2nd March at the Holiday Inn, Peterborough and a fantastic time was had by all.
The hall was beautifully decorated with black, silver and white balloons, with every table being adorned with Asiatic Lilies, specially printed menus and silver favours.
The stage was set with 3 black and white floor to ceiling sketches of Cliff making a dramatic backdrop for Jimmy's performance later in the evening.
The evening started with a warm welcome by Jae, Jimmy's wife and business partner and after a fabulous buffet supper, Jimmy, took to the floor to delight the capacity crowd with a selection of songs. These included We Don't Talk Any More, Bachelor Boy, Living Doll (with daughter Melody), Devil Woman (again with Melody and her fellow dancer Georgina), Ocean Deep, Move It and Sea Cruise. Jimmy also presented a new acoustic set with guitarists Yonnie and Clive, featuring All My Love, The Day I met Marie and All Shook Up - for which he received rapturous applause.
Jimmy also auctioned the Tour Shirt from the New Zealand Tour which was won by Julie Montgomery from Blackpool.
The evening ended with everyone up dancing to a superb disco "The Dick Ropa Sound".
